The best town we visited in Romania was Sighisoara.
This is a model of the town, but you can see
the incredible medieval wall that surrounds the
town to this day.

This is the biggest of the 14 towers
on the wall that surrounds the town.
When the clock strikes the hour,
there are little figures that move
around.

Here is a close up of the clock figures.

Here is a view of Sighisoara from
the top of the clock tower.

Brasov was another nice town in the
heart of the Carpathian mountains.

|
Because we were in Transylvania, I had
to stop at a graveyard to pick up some
consecrated soil.
If you want some real Transylvanian
graveyard dirt, let me know. I've got lots.

This funniest thing we saw on the road was this
half house.

The most interesting channel on Romanian TV was
the one that showed this still picture of a
carp all the time.
