Paris

I went to Paris for the weekend to visit my
old friends Cyrille, David, and Pascal.

I met them in San Diego when I was working
for Genset.

Of course I did the normal tourist things,
like visit the Eiffel Tower.

On the lawn in front of the Eiffel Tower, this police
woman was chasing people off the lawn.

I'm glad to see that Germany is not the only place
where you cannot sit on the grass ^_^

(I'm just joking!!! You can sit on the grass in
plenty of places in France and in Germany.)

I took a ride on the Jubilee Ferris wheel
on the Concord in front of the Louvre.

I enjoyed a great view of the city
from the hilltop cathedral called
the Sacre Coeur.

But after a while, being around so many
tourists started to really bug me.

Just look all the fools waiting in
line to get into the cathedral at
Notre Dame.

If you visit Paris, I suggest you skip all the
fancy art museums and go visit the
Police Museum instead.

2nd floor Rm. #203 Police Station Rue De La Montagne

They had an original guillotine, that was actually
used in the revolution.

After I took the photo, a policeman told me that
photos are not allowed in the museum. I think it
was because he could tell I was not a cop.

Maybe if I had the right cloths, they would
let me take more photos in the Police Museum.
Luckily, Cyrille had a friend who is a
policeman so I was able to go 'under cover'
in a real uniform of the French National Police/

Thanks Jeff for letting me try on the uniform!

On Boulevard De Belleville in the 11th district,
there was this wonderful international street
market full of immigrants from all over the
world.

Unfortunately, one photo cannot capture the
hustle and bustle of the place, but trust me
it was really great.

I bought some really cheap batteries for my
digital camera, which I lived to regret.

All the French girls I saw in Paris were
really cute, but I only slept with one.

Her name was Bijou, don't your agree
that she's the cutest you have ever seen?

Her cage was in my room and she kept me up
all night ^_^

Actually, that's not quite true.
Bijou did not keep me up all night
because most nights I was partying
with the crazy French until the wee
hours of the morning.

This photo was taken at 6 in the morning
and believe me, I felt worse than I look.

After sleeping until noon, a great
traditional French breakfast is crepes
with Nutella and a glass of orange juice.

Followed by a visit to the worlds most
famous strip club.

Hubba Hubba

(Actually I didn't go in, it was way to expensive.)

Ok, so I have this fascination about European
Automatic toilets. So What?

Toilets like these are located all over
Paris, they cost 2 Francs and after you
use them, the inside gets sprayed down
with water automatically to clean it for
the next person.

The cheap batteries I bought from the market ran
out while I was visiting Versailles.

I wanted to take some photos of the fantastic
gardens with wonderful fountains, but I guess
you will just have to go and see them for
yourself.
