The Wonderful World of Amelie

If you have not seen the film Amelie by
director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, stop reading
this right now and go and rent it.

I'm not kidding. You'll be glad you did.

The film takes place mostly in the Montmartre
district in Paris. This a telescope on the
the Sacre Coeur like the one Nino Quincampoix
used when he looked down to see Amilie put
the photo album in the bag on his moped.

The cafe le Deux Moulins where Amilie
Poulain works as a waitress.

There were two Japanese tourists
there as well and I let them take
a photo with my copy of the DVD.
They seemed very pleased.

Palace Video where Nino works. The outside looks
different in the film, but inside, it's the same.

A telephone booth on the Place
des Abbesses where Dominique Bretodeau
finds his box of lost childhood memories.

I think this place has something
to do with the film, but I don“t
know what.

As soon as I find out, I'll
post it here.

The entrance to the Metro station at
Lamarck Caulaincourt where Amilie
leaves the blind man after guiding
him through Rue Lamarck.
